“There are so many facets in cyber you’re bound to find a niche that resonates well with you and your strength.”

A cybersecurity powerhouse and devoted mom, Lynne’s vision is to leave the world better than when she entered it. Armed with a dual degree in accounting and management information systems (MIS), she launched her career at Deloitte right after college. Following a stint at a Fortune 50 company, she rejoined Deloitte and dove into the world of consulting.

She’s a force for positive change and enjoys empowering people to reach their full potential at work and in life, including helping women seize cyber career growth opportunities.

What is the first thing you do to start your day?

Wordle. My husband and I have a little competition. I do it first thing in the morning, he does it at the end of the day.

How has being a woman shaped your experience in this industry?

I’m not only a leader, I’m a wife, a sister, and a mom. Being a mom gave me a different appreciation for balancing multiple aspects of the motherhood experience. There’s always a piece of me wanting to make sure that others are taken care of and are getting what they need.

How can we attract more women to the cybersecurity industry?

We need to highlight more women who are successful in their careers and their families.

What makes you proud to be a part of the cybersecurity industry?

It’s an exciting space to be in, helping others understand what cyber is. Also, cyber is a sexy thing people don’t imagine me working in.
